Shariar Mohajer is President & Chief Investment Officer at Cloud Capital, a leading global specialized data center investment management firm managing over $12 billion. Based in London, he helped establish Cloud Capital in 2020 and leads all aspects of the firm’s capital deployment, acquisitions, investment strategy, portfolio management, capital markets, capital formation, and broader initiatives.

Shariar brings over 30 years of investment banking, mergers & acquisitions and private equity advisory experience, with a career focused almost exclusively on communications and digital infrastructure. Over the course of his career, Shariar has advised on and executed more than $100B of transactions across M&A and strategic investments.

Previously, Shariar led the Communications Infrastructure M&A practice at RBC Capital Markets, one of the world’s leading M&A advisory firms in the data center and communications infrastructure sectors. Shariar served as a Managing Director at RBC for over 14 years, where he led many of the data center sector’s most significant M&A transactions globally. Prior to RBC, Shariar worked at Merrill Lynch, where he helped establish the Merrill Lynch Global Communications Investment Fund and in Telecom M&A. He began his career at Lehman Brothers’ Investment Banking Group.

Shariar received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University (Bishop Scholar) and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
